Occurring in 99 per cent of domestic violence cases, economic abuse can affect clients of all backgrounds Standards International has partnered with Australian adviser Amanda Cassar to launch a new training programme aimed at tackling economic abuse. Economic abuse is when one person has control over another’s access to economic resources. Amanda has achieved a lot in her nearly 20 years in Financial Planning – but she isn’t anywhere near done yet! Owning and running a successful firm on the Gold Coast (Queensland, Australia) with over 200 active clients and a team of 5, she could very easily fill her days with client work, and then enjoy the beautiful Gold Coast weather. But Amanda wants to give back to the Advice community that has given her so much, and she does that through her role as the Queensland State Chair of MDRT.
